AWARD-WINNING DOCUMENTARY

Escape from Tiger Mountain

People ask me all the time why we left Tiger Mountain. For a completely honest answer, I’ve written a book - the documentary only scratches the surface.

Living at Tiger Mountain was bizarre, wild, and utterly fascinating. It’s tough to live on 40 acres in the middle of the woods with neighbors that can’t or won’t help out, so it was a lot of work for us with little support from the board there.

Sure, living in the middle of a Stewardship Forest can be wonderful. Soaking in an outdoor trough filled with fresh, warmed spring water while drinking wine and watching the planes line up to land at Sea-Tac is an experience most wouldn’t ever be able to afford.

Trust me. We paid the price. And barely got out of there with our sanity intact.

You’ll leave stunned, especially if you are an environmentalist.  #LeaveNoTrace
